CONTEXT: 21st Century Learning now a days is highly practiced that is why we as students are need to update ou r knowledge about new technology especially in electronics.
EXPERIENCE: I spend my Elementary and High School years in a far flung area at Bukidnon whom I thought will never be reached by electricity.
REFLECTION: During my first year in college way back 2006, that year was really a striving moment I guess because we need to take up the subject about computer and what do I know? Only a little of that so called computer basics. I could say that students in the city are more advanced than of some students in bukidnon but there is a classmate of mine whom I will never forget, He is from the city but did not hesitate to assist us in doing our requirements. I could still remember how hard it was for me that even sending my requirements via email sounds funny but it’s true, I don’t know how to do it. That is why I realized that in our lives no matter who we are, no matter where we come from we always have the place to be in.
ACTION: Someday , if I’ll be teaching already, I would not just tell or encourage my students to become a good 21st century learner but I would also encourage them to share what they know and help them realize the true essence of being a learner.
EVALUATION: 21ST century learning should be given importance so that learners would be able to be at their best.

CONTEXT: A variety of curriculum perspectives exist which greatly influence the direction and results of curriculum development efforts (Eisner & Vallance, 1974; Miller & Seller, 1985; Zuga, 1989.This is why framework should be given importance, it should be planned and prepared well so that the outcome should be at its best also.
EXPERIENCE: I was once a member of a Student Body Organization in our school when I was still high school and there were times that we cannot implement or execute our plan well because there is no enough time of planning it.
REFLECTION: I realized how important framework is not just in a project but also in our lives. When I was still at my teenage years I don’t have really the exact plan when to graduate and what to do after that until I found myself attending two kids and a husband and there I only realize how important to have a plan that would be accomplished in a certain time. And that we can still do a lot of things in our lives.
ACTION: Last year, when I enrolled in Xavier again feels like whoah! I was overwhelmed by the students who are now more competitive by the teachers who are now maybe not all but majority of them are more approachable already. That is why I always tell myself to give justice to this chance through doing my part as a student in the best way I can.
EVALUATION: Framework should be accompanied with hard work, discipline eagerness and faith in God.

CONTEXT: Integrating Technology and media into instruction: the ASSURE Model taught me how learners should be analyze and that we need to state standards and objectives in our lessons and apply strategies that are useful to them.
EXPERIENCE: During my High School years , we were introduced to computers but since those donated computers arrived when we were about to graduate already so I didn’t have the chance to learn more about computer.
REFLECTION: Today’s learners are really different from what I have experienced already, they are now more competitive that is why as a returnee, I realized that I should not only be sitting in a classroom watching my co learners grow, seeing them doing that or this really encourage me to go with them.
ACTION: As a future educator, there is really a need for me to master these strategies so that I would be able to use these in my teaching career especially in our place.
EVALUATION: ASSURE model should not be taken for granted, even I am still a student, I really need to practice this so that when time comes that I need to share or use it I already mastered it.

CONTEXT: Achieving 21st Century Learning Environments should be integrated with technologies and should be a teacher-centered and more on a student-centered strategy because now a days, students are learning through hands on activities therefore their learning environment should also be a comfortable place to learn to.
EXPERIENCE: When I reached grade four, our adviser would instruct us to do certain task like conducting a mini program every Friday where we can showcase our talents and that really gives us confidence and happiness knowing that our teacher trusts us.
REFLECTION: In our lives, a series of change do happen, when I was still a kid what I want in my life is different from the usual things I do during my teen age life and now I am already at the adult stage, the way I look at things is really different from those two and then I realized that change will always be a part of one’s life same as with learning, we should never stop learning so that whatever knowledge will always be updated.
ACTION: As a learner of this century, I would really encourage myself to do more in whatever I do, tried things I never learned before like that of making movie and edit because honestly I never learned to that and would try to do my best to know more about computer so that if ever I’ll be needing this skill to share to others I would not hesitate then for I am sure what to teach.
EVALUATION: Teachers, learners and learning Environment are like of those electronics technology that should be updated also so that they will not be left behind in spite of many changes.

CONTEXT: Engaging Learners With Computers –one of the topics whom I really enjoyed most, it was not just fun but there a lot of things I learned from this.
EXPERIENCE: Whenever there are computer works, I would really ask myself what for?. Anyway we can do presentations in a traditional way, marker, cartolina, black board ,chalk boards etc. I’m not really a fan of computer works before.
REFLECTION: I thought that I could escape from doing computer works but I think as a student of this century I have to be with this change, I need to get along with it that is why after our activity whom my classmates gave to us I realized that we can really do more things in a creative way like the tasked assigned to us, we made a poem and did some drawings on it so that it would not just be a plain and dry poem. That is why today I would really be learning electronics technology.
ACTION: I want to be an effective facilitator someday that is why if ever I will be on my teaching career already I would enroll at TESDA and take up a 6 month computer course who knows by the time I graduate there is a internet connection already in the school where I graduated high school and there I would also be teaching them what I know.
EVALUATION: software and hardware are part of a computer that we should familiarize with for knowledgeable teacher, creative student, convenient learning environment are achievable when we are flexible.

CONTEXT
Connecting Learners Using Web 2.0 Tools give learners different ways to access information and share their knowledge.
EXPERIENCE
Way back High School life, honestly I don’t know what Friendster was because when I entered Xavier, what would our classmates asked us was “do you have a Friendster account”? because I am not yet what facebook is all about so that thing was really new to me.
REFLECTION
As a future educator I now realized that aside from using the traditional materials, especially if I would be assigned in a far flung area, I need to make sure that my students would also be introduced to the basics of electronic technology materials, so that it won’t happen to them what happened to me, I’ve been using “usb” for a long time when actually it is called “flash drive”.
ACTION
As a future educator, I will also introduce this lesson to them so that they would know what does blog, Online Video, audio and cyber learning is all about.
EVALUATION
Connecting learners using Web 2.0 Tools is really an advantage for we can lessen the time spend making or buying tool that we’re going to use but in a far flung area and has no electricity Cyber Learning won’t be applicable to them.

CONTEXT
Connecting Learners at a Distance is one of the greatest advantages offered by Modern Technology, it is also the ability to instruct without the presence in classroom.
EXPERIENCE
This topic is quiet new to me for I haven’t experience learning without the presence of my teacher until I enrolled here, I met e-learn.
REFLECTION
Connecting Learners at a Distance compared to the traditional teacher-student scenario is really advantage, for it would not just save time but also money- you don’t need to go to school everyday and spend how many peso for your travel.
ACTION
If time comes that I would be teaching already, I would also tackle this lesson so that my students would also be aware on what and what not to do in an internet.
EVALUATION
I find it really useful but in using it there are a lot of things we need to be aware of, etiquettes that we need to follow for a lot of people would see what you wrote and what you’ve posted that is why I would like to emphasize what Ms. Pia Wurztbach answered “Think before you cLICK".

CONTEXT
There are two types of visuals that are usually used in the classroom, the Non-projected visuals-these visuals do not require equipment to view while projected visuals are media formats in which still images are enlarged and displayed on a screen.
EXPERIENCE
Most of the Instructional Materials I encountered during my elementary years were more on Indigenous materials, projectors are again, new to me.
REFLECTION
These two types of visuals are all useful in teaching and I’ve found out that there are a lot of these where we can choose to make it more creative.
ACTION
As a future educator we not just settle for plan A only, we need to do our best inorder to feed the mind of our students through giving lessons in a creative way without losing the essence of the lesson.
EVALUATION
This topic is one of most helpful topic in educ23 since it is applicable to whether you’ll be teaching in rural or urban areas.

CONTEXT
There could be disadvantage in using audio but using audios are really advantage since they are readily available, simple, portable, inexpensive, reproducible, provides verbal message, offer current information, stimulating and resistant to damage.
EXPERIENCE
When given instructions before and even now that I am college already, sometimes I ask repeatedly what my teacher/instructor instructed to us because maybe I’m not really focused.
REFLECTION
I realized that as a future educator, I would practice what sir Ronald told us “give the instruction once”.
EVALUATION
Audios are really helpful not just to the students but also to teachers so we should integrate this in our lessons especially the audiotapes.

CONTEXT
Videos especially the educational videos addresses the four domains for it would further deeper what the teacher is trying to convey especially if the lessons are stories, plays etc.
EXPERIENCE
One of the videos whom I will always remember that my teacher shown to us was Romeo and Juliet.He integrated that video with our lesson so that we would appreciate more the feelings expressed by the characters.
REFLECTION
Now I know that those scenes in the video were a series of scenarios where editors compressed it. And through its special attributes which include time laps, removal of time, compression of time, expansion time and even slowing the movements of the characters could result a very good final product.
ACTION
If I will be at my teaching profession already, I would probably teach my students about this topic and I would let them do their own educational video or short film depending on our topic.
EVALUATION
Both audio and video are useful because if we want our students to focus on pronunciation skills then we will use audio but if we want them to appreciate more than just the pronunciation skill but also the facial expression then video is the right tool for it.
